When should I make my reservation? At Rockport Event Rentals, we highly recommend reserving your desired items as early as possible. Our extensive inventory caters to a wide range of occasions, ensuring that we have something to suit your needs. However, as demand can fluctuate, it is not uncommon for certain items to run out quickly. By making your reservation in advance, you can secure the specific items you require and enjoy peace of mind knowing that your event will be well-equipped and unforgettable.


Can I change my reservation later on?

  • Yes, you can increase your order up to 2 days before your delivery as long as we have the items available.

  • You can decrease your quantities, delete items, or cancel your reservation up to 4pm 7 days before your scheduled delivery and receive a full refund.

  • A 35% cancellation fee will apply to items canceled after 4pm 7 days prior to scheduled delivery.

  • A 100% cancellation fee will apply to items canceled less than 48 hours prior to scheduled delivery.

Reservations

Quotes and proposals do not guarantee availability of rental equipment. Equipment will be reserved only upon receipt of a signed rental contract and a 50% deposit. Final payment is due 3 days before of installation.

 Delivery

Standard round trip delivery and pick-up in the Rockport area ( 20 mile radius) is $100.00. Delivery to outlying areas such as Refugio, Beeville, Sinton, Calallen, Kingsville is higher. Rates may also be higher for non-standard deliveries such as those that are for multi-level venues, specific times, before or after hours, certain hotels, convention center locations etc… Please call or email us for a quote.

 Do you set up the equipment?

Some of our items including Bamboo Wedding Arches and other select products, include free Set Up. Other items such as Folding Tables, Chairs and Linens, do not. If you wish to have our staff set up and or strike, please ask your event consultant for a quote. Please note that in order for us to schedule our crew, these services must be arranged when you place your order.

 

Pickup Responsibility:

  • Rinse china, silver, utensils, etc., free of food.

  • Repack in original containers.

  • Dry and return linens on hangers.

  • Knock down and stack tables and chairs.

  • Assemble all items in one location.

  • Failure to meet these conditions results in extra charges.

 What if I damage or lose an item?

RER offers RPP which is our Rental Protection Program. RPP will cover most damages to rental items that occur during the course of the rental. If you choose to use RPP, you will be exempt from replacement charges for damaged equipment unless the damage is the result of negligence or misuse. Please note that candle wax, paint, glue or burns on linens are not covered. If you elect not to use RPP then you will be charged twice full replacement cost for any damaged items.

 Will I be charged for missing items?

Please take all necessary precautions to avoid loss of equipment. All missing items, due to theft or otherwise, will be subject to charge for replacement cost. RER counts larger items at the pickup location and smaller items at our warehouse. You will be billed for any missing items when we close your contract. You will be immediately notified by email as to what is missing and what what you have been charged for the replacements. You will be given 14 days from the date of the charge to return the missing items for a full refund.

Will I need to clean my items before returning them?

We ask only that you return linens free of debris and dry, dishware items lightly rinsed and in their original containers.

My event is on Saturday. Since you are closed on Sundays, do I have to pay for an extra day?

We are open to accept returns on Sunday before noon. After noon, we will close and you will be charged another day of rentals. If you’re leaving town, please call as soon as you know you’re going to be late and we will charge accordingly per hour. $50 per hour after Sunday at noon.

Long Term Rentals

Most prices quoted are for a one-day charge, allowing our customers to conveniently rent our items for their desired event duration. Do you charge sales tax?

Not on rentals, only on purchase items.

Can I get my items the day before my event?

Yes, we usually can deliver or you can pick up your items the day before your event at no extra charge depending on availability and scheduling.

What if I have a problem with my equipment after hours?
